The World Wide Web is a graphical user interface or GUI designed to easily allow you to explore the Internet. Each Web site consists of Web pages that are linked together. Each page has a URL or address that identifies that page.

Besides allowing you to create links to the Internet, Microsoft Office 97 enables you to create Web pages, and copy information from the Internet into any and Microsoft Office 97 document.
